Fair Week
Today is the start of what is sure to be a very long week. It happens EVERY YEAR, and yet it still hits us like a semi. Fair Week. Tommy, Dad and I got up at the crack of dawn.. okay before the crack of dawn (4:45ish) to take the pigs to fair. Oh what fun. It was still dark. It was cold. But hey, at least they're there now. Today Phileep (Pronounced Phil-leap) and Lola will be weighed and then just hang around in their pens for the day. Tomorrow is a different story. We will be on the fair grounds by six-thirty in the morning, bathing the piggies, brushing them and getting them ready for shows. First up is Showmanship starting a nine, then Market Class after. We take a break, eat lunch, go home for a few hours, and come back just in time for the seven o'clock Open Show. There will be pictures at some point, I promise. But for now, wish us luck!
